The Chatex model selector lets you choose which supported model to use for a chat. Open the chat composer, click the current model name, and pick the model you want.
Who can use which models?
Anonymous users and signed-in non-Pro users currently get one free message before paid access is required. In standard text chats, that free-message path is currently served through GPT-5.4. Paid users get ongoing access based on the current subscription and entitlement rules.
Current model families
Chatex currently includes supported models from GPT, Claude, Gemini, Grok, DeepSeek, Qwen, Kimi, and Mistral. The exact catalog can change over time.
Not every model supports the same inputs. Attachment support, audio input, and other multimodal features depend on the specific model you select.
